RAYI Propeller Usage and Maintenance Guidelines

 

1. Adherence to VFR Regulations 

RAYI propellers must be operated exclusively under VFR (Visual Flight Rules) conditions. This restriction prohibits the utilization of aircraft equipped with RAYI propellers in adverse weather conditions.

 

2.Unforeseen Adverse Weather Encounters

In the event of an unintended entry into adverse weather conditions, pilots must implement all necessary measures to land the aircraft at the earliest possible opportunity.

 

3.Severe Weather Precautions 

During instances of thunderstorms or heavy rainfall, it is strongly recommended to reduce engine (propeller) RPM and expedite landing procedures. 

 

4.Impact of Cleanliness on Efficiency 

Propeller efficiency is directly influenced by the level of cleanliness. Contaminated propellers can experience a significant reduction in efficiency.

 

5.Major Repair Procedures 

For major repairs or damage necessitating substantial maintenance, the propeller must be returned to the manufacturer or undergo evaluation by RAYI’s expert team.

 

6.Balancing and Technical Interventions 

The final inspection and balancing of propellers are meticulously performed by RAYI prior to delivery. Any unauthorized technical intervention on the propeller may compromise its balance and potentially induce harmful vibrations that could damage the engine. In the event of any unexpected incidents, contact RAYI immediately.

 

7.Additional Notes 

For optimal performance and safety, it is crucial to adhere to the outlined guidelines and maintenance procedures.

 

Regularly inspecting and cleaning propellers according to the manufacturer's recommendations is essential to maintain their efficiency and prolong their lifespan.

1. Please be careful when using the propellers as the spinning propellers may cause serious injury.
2. The structural strength of the propellers are fully tested. Please make sure the propellers are not used beyond thelimits. Please do not tempt to test the strength of the propellers by bending them by hands. Any damage or loss from improper use will be on the users’account.
3. Please make sure all the accessories are mounted properly.
4. Please check on the propellers before flight and make sure they are in good condition. Please replace propellers with new ones if fault is found with them.
5. For storage, please keep them away from hostile environments including but not limited to that of H2O, SO2, NO2, Cl2, organosilicon, cyanogroup and phenol. Ambient temperature is recommended between 0 and 40℃ at less than 80% humidity.
6. Please apply anaerobic screw locking glue of medium or above strength when install propellers onto motors.
7. Please use the propellers in compliance with local laws and regulations.

8.Please do not use it for military purposes, otherwise any risk and responsibility caused will be borne by the customer.
